Welcome to our section on Great Parks of Ontario. The collection of parks could be more appropriately called A Photographer and Nature Enthusiast Guide to Parks in Ontario as it is this point of view that the parks have become some of our favourites. Our criteria is wide, but mainly the parks high points will include photo opportunities, hiking, canoeing, great wilderness and scenic qualities and wildlife viewing. If you’re looking for great parks to station your 30ft Motor home or places for water skiing or jet-skiing, then these parks may not necessarily be for you. That’s not to say you can’t do those things in these places, it just not what we look for in a great park. Enjoy and discover Ontario.
